Free resources

The Cyber Threat Intelligence Starter Kit and the CTI Planning Confidence Check are provided free of charge for your own professional use. They are educational materials. They do not constitute security, legal, or risk advice, and applying them does not guarantee any particular outcome for your organization.

The Confidence Check result

The Confidence Check is scored in your own browser from the ratings you give it. Its score and result bands reflect the confidence you reported. They are editorial guidance, not a measurement, and they do not verify or certify your organization's security, readiness, or maturity.

The book

Publication dates, retail availability, pricing, and companion materials are subject to change. Information on this website does not constitute a binding offer to sell.

Email communications

When you request the Starter Kit, you join the release list described on the sign-up page and in our Privacy Policy. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message we send.

Text messaging

The Starter Kit form's phone field is optional, and we send text messages only where you have given a number and ticked the matching consent box. Our mobile messaging terms are described in our Privacy Policy. Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Consent is never a condition of receiving the Starter Kit.

Intellectual property

All content on this website, including the book text, cover art, worksheets, graphics, logos, and images, is owned by or licensed to Black Tower Academy and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
